If you do not use the tobacco stick, the IQOS device will turn off after about 6 minutes. At that point, you will need to replace the stick.

The presence of a reduced amount of vapor may depend on an accumulation of tobacco residues or dirt. Follow these steps for proper device maintenance:

• Always use original IQOS cleaning tools and sticks.
• Clean the holder, cap and connectors between the holder and pocket charger.
• Replace the holder cap every 6 months.

If you can’t insert the HEETS tobacco stick into the holder, follow these steps to verify that:

• There is no tobacco residue in the Holder;
• The heating blade should be cleaned regularly. See the tutorial on how to clean your IQOS device. The video is available on our support page.
• The cap of the holder is completely closed;
• Tobacco sticks have not been exposed to moisture or high temperatures;
• The tobacco sticks have been stored in a dry place to prevent the tobacco mixture from sticking;
• If the cap of the holder does not close well, try with a different holder or cap.

No, partially used HEETS sticks should not be reused. These sticks are designed for a single use with IQOS devices.

Used tobacco sticks shall be put into undifferentiated waste.
Packaging materials shall not be biodegradable. Throw away the tobacco sticks and packaging according to the instructions of your municipality.
