Here’s how to use your IQOS ILUMA i ONE for the first time.
1. Turn on the device: press and hold the button for 4 seconds, then release it; the device lights will slowly turn on.
2. Slide to open.
3. Insert the SMARTCORE STICK™ up to the line on the filter, until the device vibrates and the lights begin to blink.
4. Preheating starts automatically (AutoStart) or by pressing the button for 1 second (about 20 seconds).
5. Second vibration and steady light – you can now start using the device.
6. During use, the lights will indicate the remaining usage time.
7. Near the end of the session – the device vibrates once and the white light blinks to signal the last 30 seconds or final 2 puffs.
8. Remove the used SMARTCORE STICK™ and dispose of it according to the Safety Warnings and Instructions.
9. Slide to close.
Follow these easy steps to ensure the optimal charging for your device:
Before first use, fully charge the device using a wall outlet with a compatible power adapter (5V, 2A, USB-C output) and a USB-C charging cable.
A full charge takes approximately 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes).
IQOS ILUMA i ONE does not require a full charge to operate, but it is recommended to fully charge it before the first use.
To check the device's battery level: briefly press the button. The lights will turn on to indicate the battery status:
Make sure you only use SMARTCORE STICKS™ with your IQOS ILUMA i ONE. They are single use, so ensure you do not reinsert a used one.

Charge your IQOS ILUMA i ONE Pocket Charger with compatible AC Power Adaptor (sold separately) and cable on a daily basis.
Connect your IQOS ILUMA i ONE to the IQOS APP and simply enable/disable the smart features. You can also adjust the Touch Screen brightness and choose your holder’s battery mode.
