IQOS ILUMA devices, thanks to SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEMTM technology, heat the tobacco by induction thanks to a heating element inside the SMARTCORE STICKSTM, specially designed for IQOS ILUMA, offering the authentic taste of tobacco and satisfaction similar to that of a cigarette* but without smoke and ash.
Electronic cigarettes heat liquids that may or may not contain nicotine, while IQOS ILUMA thanks to its SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEMTM heats specially designed tobacco sticks from the inside at a constant lower temperature without generating combustion.
Both systems are combustion-free and therefore they do not produce smoke or ash.
